Jewis Wedding At Tenuta Giustiniana - Rome
One of the most fascinating aspects of being a wedding photographer is witnessing the incredible variety of traditions and cultures that surround the act of saying “I do.” Among them, the Jewish wedding ceremony has always struck me for its beauty and symbolism: a ritual rich in history, music, and meaningful gestures that involve not only the couple but also every guest present.
Diego and Flavia’s wedding was no exception. These two young Romans, deeply connected to their roots and their faith, asked me to capture their day in a unique way: starting with a heartfelt ceremony in a deconsecrated church in the heart of Rome, followed by an unforgettable reception at Tenuta Giustiniana.
Flavia’s morning was filled with quiet excitement. She got ready in her central Rome apartment, accompanied by her inseparable four-legged friend. There was something cinematic about the moment she stepped out of her front door, glowing with joy, and got into the car that would take her to meet Diego.
The ceremony itself was short but powerful: full of emotion, warm embraces, and joyful greetings from guests who wouldn’t join for the reception. Once the formalities were complete, we took a moment to create some intimate portraits of the couple, capturing their smiles, their laughter, and the way they seemed to forget the world around them.
Then came the evening: Tenuta Giustiniana, with its timeless charm, hosted a reception filled with warmth, toasts, and dancing under the stars. It was the perfect setting for a celebration that blended tradition with a modern, understated elegance.
As I packed my cameras that night, I felt the quiet satisfaction that comes with knowing we had documented not just a wedding, but a story of love, faith, and togetherness: one that Diego and Flavia, and their families, will treasure forever.
